Downloadable Application Containers are mechanism that enable Native Apps to be containerised and then deployed to the embedded RDK-V and RDK-B devices. In this webinar, Rahul Mehra and Stephen Foulds will:

This webinar will go into detail about AnyCAS, a framework that enables using the OCDM framework for CAS (DVB). AnyCAS makes integration easy for CAS solutions by enabling a Secured Media Path for Broadcast content. It can be integrated into any player or any DVB stack, and can be used for both 2-way and 1-way CAS. Using the OCDM approach for both OTT and Broadcast content provides a simpler integration path for the RDK platform by avoiding the complexity of using 2 different approaches for DVB and OTT content.

The open-source Lightning-UI Shared Components library is about to get a huge refresh! The Comcast Experience Design Engineering, Entertainment Delivery team is about to open source over forty components, all with “theming” built in. Theming is a way to easily customize the UI of each component by “Bringing Your Own Design System.” Theming is essentially CSS from the Web, but for Lightning. This presentation will showcase the new components, our theme files, and how to utilize them all in your own applications.
