Does RDK already support PIP mode of video playback?

Hello Danish,
We will need a little more clarification on your requirement. At what level are you looking for PIP mode support, whether you are looking for hardware support or you are looking for the support in software stack.

Hello Danish,
From speaking with RDK Engineers, PIP is not supported as of RDK 2.0.
It seems that conceptually in 2.0, PIP will be just another RMF player pipeline(HNSource->MediaPlayerSink) with different rectangle properties for the smaller player window. This is how they are intending to do the implementation when the time comes. The implementation however is not in place.
