Currently RDK-B is not supporting a mobile app framework as such. If you are developing a mobile app for the device, you can use TR-181 data models to fetch data from platform. A RESTful API support for fetching data from platform is currently not supported
Comcast deploys a mobile app used to configure the gateway and customer network and get status information. The mobile app supports iPhone and Android. The app interfaces to a cloud API, not to RDKB directly. The cloud is the central configuration master. The cloud sends and receives data with RDKB devices via WebPA protocol. Alternate approaches could work with TR-069 protocol but might have more latency due to historically slow TR-069 ACS implementations.
