Target is to migrate RDK-B Reference platform to Yocto 6.0 (Wrynose) for BPI platform
- Common repos from rdkcentral github for community - github.com/rdkcentral
- Common OSS repos for Broadband and Entertainment platforms ( RDKE OSS model )
- Kernel 6.12 migration - Mediatek SDK
Current version & Supported till by open-embedded
- Kirkstone (Released on 2022 April)
- LTS until Apr. 2026
Why Kirkstone → Wrynose
- To align RDK-B software stack with yocto community

- April 2026 ( Released on Apr 23rd 2026 )
