Release Information


Below are the list of release features supporting R-Pi platform and Emulator.

  • Preferred 2.4GHZ WIFI adapter for Emulator: Tenda 150Mbps Wireless PICO USB Adapter with RT5370 chipset (W311MI) (or)
    Preferred 2.4GHZ WIFI adapter for Emulator:  TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter (Archer T4U)
  • Preferred 5GHZ WIFI adapter for Emulator/RPI:  TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter (Archer T4U)
  • Preferred xfinity-wifi 2.4GHZ WIFI adapter for RPI:  TP-LINK TL-WN823N 300Mbps Mini Wireless N USB Adapter
  • USB to Ethernet
  • Desktop PCs

Known Issues and Limitations

RDKV on EMU:

1) Test case T13, T14 - WPE Web process crashes after 10 seconds. At times, failed to launch WPE launcher with URL due to bus error.

Observation:

1) T2, T5 - With http ://tungsten.aaplimg.com/VOD/bipbop_adv_example_v2/master.m3u8, playbintest does not work. URL is the issue.

Not Tested:

T9, T10, T11 - RDK Media Player - Not tested

Note:

RDKB on RPI - RPI for Developers - Tested with a local build only
