Overview


The MediaClient profile in RDK is designed for devices that primarily serve as media playback clients. These devices are used for streaming audio and video content, such as video-on-demand services or live TV. The MediaClient profile focuses on delivering a seamless media playback experience, including features like content rendering, interactive video capabilities, content discovery, media format support, user interface customization, and integration with streaming services. It aims to provide users with a user-friendly and immersive media experience while streaming audio and video content.
