Hi I'm building a RDK-B_2020Q4 image for a raspbarryPi.

Image building works fine but when I flash the image to a raspbarryPi, only erouter0 IP V6 address is attached

No IPV4 address is attached .

dibbler-client service is also not working properly.

How can I attach IPV4 address from start to erouter0?

  1. Hi Z-Vitor Lopes dos Santos ,

Can you please share the below details

    1. ifconfig erouter0
    2. ps | grep dhcp
    3. dmcli eRT getv Device.X_CISCO_COM_DeviceControl.LanManagementEntry.1.LanMode
    4. syscfg get last_erouter_mode

  3. The IPV6  problem is on the WAN site.

    thanks

  4. Hi Z-Vitor Lopes dos Santos ,

Sorry for the delay in response.

In the above shared output of "ifconfig erouter0" , both ipv4 and ipv6 are available .

    • Are you pointing that ipv6 is attached to erouter0 and ipv4 is attached later ?
    • Are you not able to reach any site(using ipv6). If yes,  can you share the site detail.
    • Did you check with ping command ? (ping6 -i erouter0 google.com )

Could you please explain your issue in detail ?

    Regards,
    Priyankaa KVB

    1. Hi Priyankaa K V B ,

      Thank you for your time.

The problem is that after image flash to raspberry Pi we are not able to access erouter0 via IPv4.

dibbler-client service is not working from start on.

      Regards,

      Vitor Santos

      1. Hi Z-Vitor Lopes dos Santos ,

So you are not able to do ssh to rpi ,  when you have both ipv4 and ipv6 (global, link) on erouter0 ?

If so , can you please check whether the below check-in resolves your issue
