Wi-Fi Protected Setup(WPS) is a wireless network security standard that tries to make connections between a router and wireless devices faster and easier. WPS works only for wireless networks that use a password that is encrypted with the WPA Personal or WPA2 Personal security protocols while WPS doesn't work with deprecated WEP security protocol. Wi-Fi users don't need to know the broadcasting SSID and password.
Login to RDKB WebUI and go through the following path.
Connection Tab --> Wi-Fi --> ADD Wi-Fi PROTECTED SETUP (WPS) CLIENT
Then, enable WPS from inside RDKB WebUI.
Enable Wi-Fi Protected Setup(WPS), if it is not enabled.
Select "Push Button" for "Connection Options" and click on "Pair" button
Then, press "WPS Push button" in Mobile device. Mobile device will get connected to Wireless network.
