1. Amlogic EVB Quick Setup Instructions:
Setup environment NB/EVB/Debug board/Vx1 to HDMI/TV
     
Remove small daughter board from debug     board
     

                   
2.  Download a Terminal tool, Tera Term. https://tera-term.software.informer.com/4.9/
     
unzip the application file.
                    
Run ttermpro.exe
     
              
3. Choose Serial, and select current USB to UART.


4. Press Setup
              
5. Change     Speed to 115200, and     press New     setting


6. remove DC in form EVB, plug DC in to the EVB, then press "Enter" key as soon as possible.
    7. The log will stop at t5w_at301_v1#
                   
8. Type command “setenv model_name UHD_1RG_HDMI;saveenv;reset”.

9. The correct display at TV.


2. Amlogic Burning Tool Installation:
                   
2.1.Preparation Before Installation
Please close the antivirus software before installing the tool, otherwise some library files may be killed by mistake, causing the tool to not run after installation.
2.2Tool Installation Steps
Click the tool installation file V3_setup_V3.*.*.exe to start the installation.


Select the installation language.

Go to the next step.

Select the installation path, the default is C:\Amlogic\Aml_Burn_Tool\V3, and the directory can be changed.

The next step is selected by default.


You can choose whether to create a desktop icon.

Click "Install" to start automatic installation.


During the installation process, you will be prompted to install the     driver, and the next step is by default.


2.3Installing DNL Driver
The installation of the DNL driver is automatic and does not need to be started manually.

DNL driver installation is complete.


2.4Tool Starting
The tool is the V3 version of the burning tool. It supports the board that burns the V3 chip. The device manager shows Universal Serial Bus devices --> android_winusb, which is used for burning the V3 version of the tool.

When the device displayed in the device manager is libusb-win32 Usb Devices --> WorldCup Device, it is suitable for the V2 version of the tool to burn.

After the tool is installed, a icon named Aml_Burn_Tool will be generated in the launch bar on the desktop


Tool start:
    

You can import the USB upgrade package to upgrade.
Note: If the tool opens and encounters the prompt as shown in the figure below, first confirm whether there is aml_usb_flow.dll in the installation directory of the tool. If the file exists, it means that the user PC may lack the VC2015 runtime library.

Select different runtime library installation packages according to the number of PC systems. This problem can generally be solved after installing the runtime library.

2.5Manually Installing the Driver
If a yellow exclamation point "!" appears when the device is connected in the device manager, it means that the driver has not been installed successfully, and you need to install the driver manually.

First     enter the directory specified by the tool installation, first click     dpscat.exe to sign the driver.

During the signing process, if security prompt when need signature or authorization, need allow this operation.


Choose the corresponding installation according to the system bitness of     your own machine, choose dpinst64.exe for 64 bit and dpinst32.exe for 32 bit.

Or manually update the driver in the device manager, right-click on the problematic device and select update driver.


Select "Browse my computer for driver software", select     C:\Amlogic\Aml_Burn_Tool\V3\Driver in the tool installation     directory to update the driver.

The driver is installed successfully.

The device is recognized normally, you can directly use the tool to burn.

3. Amlogic Upgrade Image Instructions:
Using Vby1 to HDMI-TX adapter
1. power
2. speakers
3. usb-A to usb-A cable for upgrade. Connected to lower USB port
4. UART console cable
5. Vby1 cable to HDMI converter connection

Upgrade Instructions:
1. interrupt bootloader. Make sure that USB-A to USB-A cable is connected to laptop/PC
2. type "adnl" to go to upgrade mode. Make sure that you have connected USB-A cable to bottom USB port on device and the other end is connected to laptop/PC.
3. upgrade using AH212 S905X4/SC-2/t5w/t7 and Windows Burning Tool : Use v3.2.1
