Nice to see RDK 2.0 delivered.

I’m a bit surprised to see that OCAP is still mentioned in the Hybrid porting guide.

So does it means that currently , there are 2 ways to build a RDK 2.0 software, when want to deal with a QAM input ?

with a first solution  through OCAP (US cable) and second solution with RMF ?

And a resulting question: is the RMF solution reliable today ?

  1. Both OCAP and RMF are available in 2.0, but it is advisable to use RMF as OCAP will be removed in the future releases. RMF is not a production ready in 2.0 release and a more mature version will be available as part of 2.0.1 release.
