the existing System Service (System - ServiceManager) provides APIs for firmware upgrade which entails full system upgrade. Is there a way in RDK to upgrade individual native components such as Thunder Plugins?

If not, are they are there any plans for such support? (there is is an older thread (Does RDK support the installation/uninstallation of third-party component freely?) about similar topic)
