Hardware and Software Requirements
Supported software and hardware
- Raspberry PI 3 target board
- Preferred 2.4GHZ WIFI adapter for Emulator: Tenda 150Mbps Wireless PICO USB Adapter with RT5370 chipset (W311MI)
- Preferred 5GHZ WIFI adapter for Emulator: TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter (Archer T4U)
- USB to Ethernet
- Desktop PCs
- Morty Branch for all platforms except RNE (daisy)
- MPEG2 Licence - To play mpeg2 format.
Known Issues and Limitations
RDKB on RPI:
1) On boot-up, not getting captive portal on wired and wireless clients. Only black screen is seen. With local fix, black screen issue gets resolved and able to continue testing
2) On boot-up, when connecting through Remote management, it displays webui instead of captive portal
3) Cannot enable Managed devices in parental control. Saving the stage goes back to Disabled.
RDKV on RPI:
1) In Multi Boot and Multi Output Port Display, if AV mode is chosen, the display will not fit to screen.
2) In both wpe/westeros images of Hybrid and Mediaclient, pxscene does not launch due to version upgrade
3) In both wpe/westeros images of Hybrid and Mediaclient, Reboot gives blank screen for more than 20 seconds, after which box reboots.
